Shirley (formerly Mrs. P) left us this morning, though it was expected. Yesterday morning she showed her first signs of a respiratory flare-up (weight was fine and no symptoms) and it was terminal. We started medication right away but by that evening she was already growing cold. I gave her snuggles and pets until she wanted to be put back and by the next morning she had left us. Rest well, girl!
Izzy showed off her charm and because of it has a brand new sister to cavort with. Lucky girl!
Izzy is our 60th rat adopted out in 2014. Thanks to all adopters!
Aladdin and Snap are off on a new adventure! They were adopted once, then came back because the young lady ended up with a dorm room half the size as the previous year. Their new home will be with an existing boy once the slow introductions are successful. Congratulations!
After a couple of days getting used to his new brother, Duke is off to his new home. Congratulations!
Pan and Hank were the stars of the show this afternoon as they snuggled right up with their new parents. Such happy ratties, congratulations Chad & Eve!
These will primarily be posted by Chris, a rat lover for nearly 40 years.
